'Can't deport us all,' immigration activists say at West Palm rally

WEST PALM BEACH
Holding candles and posters that read "Can't deport us all," around 40 activists rallied for about an hour Monday evening in protest of what they say are increased federal roundups of undocumented immigrants.
Organized by the Immigrant Rights Coalition of Palm Beach County, the group gathered in front of the federal courthouse on Clematis Street.
Organized said they want to draw special attention to the deportation of Haitian nationals who are being forced back to a country wracked by food riots and civil unrest.
"People call me every day to ask, 'What do I do, do I go back?'" said Philippe Bob-Louis Jeune, a Haitian activist.
"If I were in their position, I would never go back to Haiti," he said. "There is nothing to eat and there are no jobs."
Others at the gathering spoke of the contributions of immigrants in American history.
"Americans have a short memory," said Lina Barrios, co founder of the Ixkik Museum, A Mayan history museum in Guatemala, and an indigenous community leader there.
"Ninety-eight percent of them are the children or grandchildren of immigrants, yet the government is saying no to so many recent arrivals from Latin America," she said.
Calling for an end to deportations, organizers say they are planning a larger protest in the coming months.

If we enforce the laws, we won't have to deport them. They'll be forced to leave, or get caught and have their sorry butts tossed back on the other side of the fence. And they more they protest about us enforcing our laws, the worse they look.

98% of citizens are children or grandchildren of illegals? Even here in San Jose I did an informal survey and almost everyone I know goes back a few generations here, including me.
I'll throw out a statistic - 98% of arrivals here illegally have broken even more laws through identity theft and driving offenses, at the very least.
Oh well, the downtown in the economy will wake a lot of people up that these people are only coming for jobs - not to "immigrate." You would have to be pretty stupid at this point to not understand the difference between illegal and legal. We cannot possibly support every starving person in the world and still have a country worth immigrating to, or even being born into. They do not love America, they just need an escape hatch. Who cares about tomorrow?

We can't deport them all? For one thing we've never even tried, so don't tell us what we can or cannot do, you lawbreaking, nation destroying scumbag. Just keep spouting your 'give me everything now or else' crap and you will waken the beast and find you and your anchor baby spawns from hell back across the border where you friggin' belong, amigo!
DEPORT THEM ALL?
