There has been a new website setup to encourage and support Lou Dobbs to run for president: http://www.loudobbsforpresident.org/ At the website Lou Dobbs for President you can pledge your support and voice you opinion on why Lou should run for president.

I honestly believe that the current slate of presidential candidates is far lacking in their actual caring about the American people. Just looking at them it is obvious enough that they are all about personal ambition and do not have the best interests of the American people at heart. Oh sure, they talk a good game and have come up with solutions that are mostly based on what the polls show people want (for the moment at least), but they don't have that in their heart. And of course, once elected, they'll do whatever the hell they want.

I believe that we need someone else to step forward. Someone who does have a burning desire for the American people to succeed.

Lou Dobbs has said time and time again that he will not run for president, well almost. He has left the door open that if he has enough of the public pushing him he may take up the torch and run with it.

So what do you think? Is it time for a self described Independent-Populist to make a run for the White House?
