Illegal immigration continues to slow in California

After years of rapid growth, illegal immigration has slowed in California, with the state's share of the nation's 11.9 million undocumented migrants dropping by nearly half to 22% from 42% since 1990, according to a new study released today by the Pew Hispanic Center.

The study found that California is still home to the nation's largest concentration of illegal immigrants, numbering 2.7 million last year, but that more of them have dispersed to Georgia, North Carolina and other states.

The study, based on March 2008 data from the U.S. Census Bureau, found that three quarters of illegal immigrants are Latino, mostly from Mexico. On average, they tend to work in low-skilled jobs such as farming and construction, earn markedly less than the median national income and have lower educational levels than U.S.-born residents.

For instance, 47% of illegal immigrant adults ages 25 to 64 have less than a high school education compared with 8% for U.S.-born residents. Their 2007 median household income was $36,000, compared with $50,000 for the U.S.-born, and they do not attain markedly higher incomes the longer they live in the United States, unlike legal immigrants, the study found.

Nearly three-quarters of the children of illegal immigrants are U.S. citizens by birth. In California, they consist of about 10% of students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The number of such mixed status families has rapidly grown, to 4 million in 2008 from 2.7 million in 2003, the study found.

Illegal immigration, continuing to "SLOW?" That means NOTHING in CALIFORNIA. That's like saying the patient is SLOWLY bleeding to death instead of rapidly bleeding to death!!!

Illegal immigration into California needs to STOP and the illegals that have embedded themselves here like blood sucking ticks need to be stripped of ALL eligibility for ANY benefits of citizenship, that means jobs, education, medical treatment other than emergencies, searched out, arrested and deported along with their Anchor Babies with their bogus defacto "citzenship!"

Yeah, it is "slowing" because they have put the host (Americans) into shock!
We are running out of blood for them to suck!! But since it is still increasing soon the host will be dead (bankrupt). What will the idiot parasites do then?

When Cali starts cutting off benefits to illegals, of course they will move to other states that haven't yet been bled dry. It doesn't mean they're leaving the country - only moving to find better free stuff.

Like they've always done...they will simply move on to the next well meaning, ignorant of their ways, State that will welcome them with open arms and open wallets, suck them dry and then move on to the next group of brain dead Americans who won't heed the warnings of California, Arizona and Texas!

Illegal aliens...SPECIFICALLY from Mexihole are parasites. Mexihole is a parasitic country that has NEVER contritibuted anything to the world other than poverty, ignorance, RACISM, lawlessness and corruption! They're like a cancer, invasive, have a tendency to spread and kill off every living thing in their path, leaving nothing but destruction and waste in their wake. EVERY single city in the USA that has allowed these people to embed themselves in their communities have ended up with gang, grafitti and drug problems!! Blighted areas in the USA have most of their signage in Spanish, ever notice that?

Yep, they are still coming to Texas. The rent house down the street was recently filled with a hispanic couple with Arizona license plates. I was watching my little girl ride her bike one day when she noticed their 2 kids playing outside. She asked if she could play with them, so I walked down to the house to talk to the mom and kids and introduce ourselves. NONE of them spoke English, so I just grabbed my daughter and turned around and went home. Also, the house they live in had the most beautiful landscaping with flowers and roses. It had been that way in the 5 years I have lived here. One month after they moved in, the grass is tall and most of the flowers are dead, and they park a non-working pickup in what used to be a lush, beautiful lawn.

That seems to be the signature mark of all the Hispanic illegal aliens I've ever seen living in this town in California. And people say you, "can't tell them apart from LEGAL Hispanics" ....bull crap!

8 to 15 or even 18 people living in a one bath, 3 bedroom single family residence, 5 to 8, sometimes 12 cars parked on the front lawn, that obnoxious Mexican, circus clown music, blaring at all hours of the day and night from the house and the cars, Mexican hip-hop music, chickens in the front yard, guys openly urinating in the front yard while they drink beer sitting in lawn chairs in the front yard and no one speaks English....talk about stereotypical! These idiots stand out like sore thumbs!
