A Border Patrol agent sentenced to prison along with his partner for shooting and wounding a man smuggling drugs into the U.S. will appear with a congressman tomorrow at a rally asking President Bush to offer a pardon.

for people who are making calls and writing emails. this needs to keep being done until the date they are scheduled to go to jail on january 17th

Silvestre Reyes, the rep from El Paso says after reading testimony from the trial that he saw nothing wrong with it and will not stand in the way of the judicial system.
after listening to one of the radio shows that was downloaded to www.agentramos.blogspot.com i can see why. he has family members in federal jail for mail fraud, smuggling and other charges. HMMM conflict of interest????? ya think?

on this page if you scroll down to where you see a lou dobbs video, with the title "travesty of justice" there is a link below the picture thta says listen to the john and ken show. towards the end of this, the father in law of Ramos tells the above mentioned and says that the local paper there in el paso wont touch it and apparently neither will anyone else. but its out there now thanks to the net and being able to download things. its a 30 minute audio of the radio show immediately after the verdict
