Either way, it has no business flying in the US.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

First, thank you for your service to our country.
Second, let me inform your terribly misinformed opinion:
The Town flies the following two flags at Town Hall permanently, all-year round: the American Flag and the POW-MIA flag.
The town flew the Mexican flag for our Cicero Community Park opening because it immediately preceded the town’s annual Mexican Independence Day festival. Throughout the year, we conduct flag-raising ceremonies for a multitude of ethnicities in celebration of their heritage and contributions to the Town of Cicero and to this great nation of immigrants including but not limited to: Lithuanians, Greek, Polish, Puerto Rican, Irish, Italian, Czechand, yes, Mexican. They are temporary, ceremonial efforts. Never in place of the American flag and never intended to place one culture ahead of another but simply, again, to celebrate the heritage of all people. In fact, we have our 40th Annual Houby Day Festival and parade this weekend which celebrates Czech Heritage. We do a multitude of ethnic pride festivals throughout the year.
Recently, sponsored by the Town and organized in part by me, we held a Welcome Home celebration for PFC Frank Pierson, a combat veteran and Cicero resident wounded in Iraq.
Lastly, I happen to be a board member of Operation Homefront-Illinois, the Illinois affiliate of national organization whose mission is to assist military families with a spouse overseas. I donate my time and money to this organization and a number of others related to veterans including the Wounded Warrior Project, Paralyzed Veterans of America, and The Challenged Athletes Foundation among others. You should sharp words were incredibly presumptuous and WRONG.
Thus, your implied characterization of my so-called “attitudeâ€Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

Who cares if it's Mexican Independence Day or even Mars Independence Day!! THIS IS AMERICA AND WE ARE ONLY CONCERNED WITH AMERICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY!
Who cares if that county is 80% Latino??? Does that mean America has to give in to them??? If the Mexicans in that county wanted to celebrate their independence day, then by all means let them do it. BUT AS AN ELECTED COUNTY OFFICIAL, YOU SHOULD STAY OUT OF IT.
AND BTW, THE ONLY MEXICANS I CAN THINK OF THAT WOULD WANT TO CELEBRATE MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY ARE THE ONES THAT ARE STILL MEXICAN CITIZENS!!! AKA, ILLEGAL ALIENS.
It just pisses me off that our local elected American officials continue to cater to Hispanics -- JUST "BECAUSE THERE ARE A LOT OF THEM HERE."
They're just like our US Congress -- perpetually pandering to Hispanics. Using their logic, aren't there more Caucasians in the whole USA than Hispanics??PRESS 1 FOR ENGLISH. PRESS 2 FOR DEPORTATION.
