Budget woes close Reno immigration court

RENO, Nev. – People ordered to attend Reno's immigration court now must travel to Las Vegas for hearings after the federal agency in charge of deportation proceedings cut the travel budgets for the three Nevada immigration judges.

“Due to budgetary constraints, the Executive Office for Immigration Review must temporarily suspend the detailing of immigration judges to that location until further notice,â€

The new rule also will take extra time, Kelly said. Many of the people who appear in the immigration court don't have identification cards, so they can't fly and will have to drive the almost 500 miles to Las Vegas and stay overnight.

And why wouldn't these people have "identification cards?" Could it be they are in this country illegally? Fantastic! I want it to be absolutely inconvenient and miserable for these scofflaws to continue the fight to remain in this country! It should not be convenient for them to do so!

I find this so funny.......Obama requires photo ID's to be shown when people come to his bonanza in Chicago.......somewhere there must be some knowledge that all legal people in this country do have the proper identification to have to do things.

Finally the cost of something falls to the illegal...please don't show up and go into immediate deportation status...

Really what does it matter anyway, they are illegal, so even if they show up in court shouldn't they get deportation orders...unless they can show proof they need asylum and I doubt there are that many of those.
