http://www.kold.com/Global/story.asp?S=11757254 This is a whitewash! I don't mean the title of the story or the fact that a bankrupt Arizona is imminent. I mean, the writer--who may very well be related to pro-illegal alien activist Congressman Raul Grijalva--doesn't even mention the words "illegal aliens" when talking about Arizona's impending bankruptcy. As many law and order conservatives know, only a portion of the 30 to 40 million illegal aliens in the U.S. pay state and Federal taxes. Why? Because many of them work under the table. Also, millions of illegal alien women don't work and live off the state taxpayers. The Federal Govt doesn't reimburse the states fully for people on welfare. That is why I have advocated a concerted effort to remove illegal alien WOMEN from the U.S. as so many are on welfare and are a huge drain on the economy--AND because they drop their anchor babies who upon birth go on welfare, too.

Those illegal alien males who work under the table or "off the books" are what are called "day laborers" but they are really felons as they're not paying Federal income taxes or state taxes and are often using stolen or fraudulent U.S. IDs (a felony). They also drive without licenses as illegals can't get licenses in most states. Using false ID to open bank accounts and to get loans is a felony. It's fraud! Arizona is "the Invasion State". It's the state that most Mexicans and other foreign nationals use to break into the U.S. That's because the Fence is only partially built in Arizona. Because they don't pay state taxes, they are a drain to the states they live in. AND they compound the problem of their being in the U.S. illegally by sending billions back to their families in Mexico! The state sees none of that revenue.

Who are "the poor in Arizona" that she alludes to? Citizens? Or illegals? I'll wager that 80% or more of residents in AZ who are below "the poverty line" are illegals.

Reconquistas and liberals worst fears are about to be realized. Not only are they presiding over the U.S. with their people controlling all three houses of the Federal Govt and the economy in free fall, but their protected class--the 30 to 40 million illegal aliens--are having a horrific financial effect on CA, AZ, FL and other Invaded states. The chickens--or perhaps I should say, "los pollos"--are coming home to roost.

Arizona could be weeks away from going broke

    By Barbara Grijalva

You can bet that getting finances in order is the top resolution for the State of Arizona.

It will get an early test this month.

A massive education payment is expected to drain state resources down to zero.

What happens next will affect anyone who works for or with state government.

It's what happens when you run out of money.

    You can't pay your bills.

KOLD News 13 talked with State Representative Vic Williams (R-District 26) on New Year's Day to get his take on the budget crisis, and what he thinks it will take to get out of this mess.

He says something like this hasn't happened in nearly three-quarters of a century.

"I don't know what's going to unfold here, but it's not going to be good," Williams said.

Arizona legislators have not been able to resolve the budget crisis, and our state could be weeks away from running out of money.

That means having to issue IOU's to everyone.

And it's not only state workers, but also those who provide services, such as child care centers.

For instance, about 70% of the children at Outer Limits School in Tucson get a state subsidy.

Owner Bill Berk said the crisis could be devastating to his industry.

"We can't give our employees IOU's for their paychecks. We can't give the electric company an IOU," Berk said.

Representative Williams hopes to be able to work something out with banks so they'll accept the IOU's, but he knows that can't last forever.

He says this is going to take legislators forgetting their differences, and working together to begin a very long process to fix Arizona's budget.

"We got here by mismanagement of our budget. We've been over spending for the last few years," Williams said.

And then there's the recession that has slammed Arizona.

"We're not coming out of this in the next year. This is going to be here in 2012, 2013," Williams said.

And, over the years, voters have approved propositions that cost a lot of money for education and health care for the poor, for instance.

It's mandated spending the legislature can't touch.

"Over 60% of our state budget is locked down by those voter mandates," Williams said.

Williams said dramatic and difficult decisions are coming for legislators, voters and taxpayers.

"There are several areas where the state could look at fees or look at taxes. But, as well, we have to have significant reductions in spending with some regenerated revenue coming into the state. That's the only way we're going to get out of this problem," he said.

    Tax increases. Budget slashing.

We'll have to see what actually does come to the table when the legislative session opens January 11th, and how the people we elected to represent us finally handle this crisis.

The writer of this article has hit the nail on the head. E-verify will only be effective against the working illegal aliens; it does nothing to stop the nonworking illegal alien dependents who are the ones birthing anchor kids and who are responsible for the greatest financial strain on the states. Every illegal alien who presents for free prenatal care or birthing services should be identified, reported and then deported! I suspect many of the working males might leave along with their deported spouse/girlfriend/mama to their anchor babies.

Well let John McCain open up his personal check book. He drove the state into the ground and still wants amnesty??

I had a mouse in the kitchen the other day. I told hubby where there is one you see, there are more. Once one mouse comes in and sees the food is good, free and your host is dumb... you better believe there will be a thousand behind him.

As a postcript, we did set mouse traps and caught two... it's been 48 hours since anything was caught in the trap. so I believe we caught the problem early enough to eliminate the additional 1000 mice coming in. A simple lesson in how to protect a home, an office, a nation.
