Immigrants, Allies Gather For Greensboro Rally

Group Of 50 People March Past Police Department, IRS Building

Immigrants and their allies gathered at the Beloved Community Center in Greensboro Friday night to protest federal immigration policies.

Organizers said the group of 50 people feels that undocumented immigrants who pay income taxes should not be deported. They also said North Carolina is negatively affected by this type of deportation.

"The North Carolina economy depends on immigrants, both documented and undocumented," said N.C. Dream Team organizer Domenic Powell. "It depends on their tax contributions, their labor and the way they enrich our society."

The group marched past the Greensboro Police Department and the Internal Revenue Service building in Greensboro.

Ditto Judy! These invaders collect a check each year from the IRS because the all the dependents they claim combined with their low incomes, child credits, etc! This is in addition to the smorgasbord of social benefits they tap into to the tune of millions.

Why else would an illegal invader file a tax return if they were not going to get a check back from Uncle Sam? These people don't do ANYTHING unless it benefits them personally!

Exactly NoBueno. They're rip off artists, frauds and scammers to the 9th degree. What's hilarious in addition to being maddening beyond belief is that in a lawsuit of this nature, they will have to prove up their tax returns to substantiate their claims. What will be revealed will open a lot of eyes, hopefully some decent lawyers if we have any in the IRS and Department of Justice for conspired massive tax fraud and be made to pay all the money back in a counter-suit.

Yeah, only problem is that they're not talking about "immigrants" here. ILLEGAL immigrants is the issue. Look, given the number of qualified LEGAL immigrants ready to enter the U.S., every illegal can simply be replaced by citizens from at least 100 different countries. Why should Mexico be so special? Ah...trade agreements. Of course.
