    The UPA is trying to get localities in New Jersey that are illegal alien hotbeds, e.g. Bergenfield, to look into it, and I know that 9/11 Families for a Secure America is big on this issue-I think Peter Gadiel has even testified before Congress on its importance.

    As a resident of NYC I know that it will NEVER be used here. We are constantly told how it would cripple the Police Departments ability to perform their real priorities. Like what? Enforcing seat-belt laws and no smoking laws, both of which I have been stopped and summonses for. $90 for no SB and $60 for smoking in a non-smoking area.

    The Department of Transportation (or DoT) has what amounts to a secondary police force apart from the actual PD whose sole purpose is to ticket people. Yeah that is much more important than enforcing Immigration Law!

    And then there is this Taxpayer funded city agency:
