    An immigrant from Guatemala was sentenced to six months time served after he was convicted for possessing a fake Social Security and Permanent Resident Alien Card.

    Jairon Romero-Rosales, 27, was stopped by state police near Greensburg March 5. Federal Judge Thomas M. Hardiman sentenced Rosales last week after investigators discovered both documents Romero-Rosales showed state troopers when he was stopped were fraudulent.

    Romero-Rosales has been held in jail since he was arrested, the U.S. Attorney's office said.
