Police matched the description of the suspect’s car

MISSION – An illegal immigrant from Mexico now faces charges in an attempted shooting in Mission.

Police say the 33-year-old man fired at someone walking out of a car wash and then sped off. The bullet missed.

Police later matched the description of the suspect’s car in Palmview. Officers pulled over the suspect and arrested him.

The man is charged with aggravated assault. His bond was set at $200,000.
