An immigration agent's truck, filled with guns and government-issued gear, was stolen from his northwest Harris County home, KPRC Local 2 reported Wednesday.

The agent told Harris County sheriff's deputies he parked his green 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck in his driveway one night a few weeks ago and it was gone the next morning.

"It's not clear at this point if this vehicle was specifically targeted because he's a federal agent," Lt. John Martin said.

A .40 caliber handgun was inside the truck, officials said.

"It should be a major concern," said Bryan Patison of All Pawn. "It could be a very dangerous weapon. It could do a lot of damage or cause a lot of deaths to the wrong people."

Officials said the truck also contained a 12-gauge shotgun, four sets of handcuffs, an electronic key card to the agent's office, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement badge, raid T-shirts and jacket, a bullet-resistant vest, ammunition, pepper spray and an official police business sign.

"It has some type of a tool box mounted in the back of the truck and that's where the gear was," Martin said.
