FARGO, N.D. - Authorities say they have arrested 23 illegal immigrants from India who were working at a Casselton ethanol plant.

U.S. Attorney Drew Wrigley says the workers had phony social security cards and drivers licenses from other states.

Wrigley says the group worked for the Wanzek Construction company of Fargo and Wanzek managers notified federal authorities that they were suspicious of the workers.

Wrigley said the group came into the country legally, on short-terms visas.

A hearing for the workers is scheduled Friday at the Cass County Jail. They face charges of possessing counterfeit documents.
