Fox: USDA programs aim to help agriculture workers
Our dear fellow citizens:
I want to tell you that we keep working very hard for your well being. Just a few days ago the United States government and ours signed the Iniciativa de Sociedad para la Asistencia en Desarrollo Rural (Community Initiative to Assist in Rural Development).
With this new policy we are pushing so that you, who do work related to agriculture, can be considered to participate in the 43 programs by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The Department of Agriculture, known to you as the USDA, provides special support to rural towns and communities in regard to housing, infrastructure, jobs and much more.
We want for all of you to benefit from these programs. For that reason, via the 47 Mexican consulates in the United States and regional, state and local U.S. Department of Agriculture offices, we are going to begin a campaign that will explain, in an easy and detailed manner, the steps you need to take to be included in these programs and benefit from them.
Remember always that Mexico hasn't forgotten about you and is working for you.
