Illegal immigrants detained in Centerville
March 26, 2011

CENTERVILLE (March 10) — At a little before 7 a.m., a Centerville police officer stopped a vehicle on East Spring Valley Road at Clareridge Lane.

The driver, 27, did not have a driver’s license, and it was determined that he and his 31-year-old passenger, were both in the country illegally. The men, who said they lived in Lexington, Ky., were originally from Honduras.

The U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement department issued a detainer for the men, who were transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
