Illegal immigration reform is a salient issue in America today. Particularly among the Republicans who consider this issue “a border crisis.â€

Unfortunately Mr Samad is blind to what is really happening in "our" America. You see there are 2 Americas: There's the America that only sees illegals when they come to work for them, and there's the America that lives right next door to illegals and here what they say about America and Americans. The question I have for Mr Samad is "What do we do when the illegals declare war on America?" It is coming if we are to believe in history. I would also ask him to view some of the videos on Youtube so he can see that the people he speaks of in a most positive light would like nothing more to take what he has and make it their own. How are these blind pro-illegal folks gonna feel when they're afraid to leave their own houses for fear of what the illegals will do to them. I assure you Mr Samad has never felt that he doesn't belong in his neighborhood, while millions of Americans leave their homes to icy stares from illeglas who have turned their neighborhoods into a mirror image of Mexico...

Ted Hayes is a true patriot and cares deeply for those in poverty as well as all Americans.

It has been a great honor for me to serve with and work with Ted Hayes in this cause for enforcement of our laws with Ted.

Ted is a prophet and a witness and understands the threats we face.

This "Doctor" needs to spend years helping homeless black Americans like Ted Hayes has done. He might then understand there will never be enough resources to help black Americans until the immigration laws are enforced.

I believe black Americans were coming of age but their growth has been stunted by the illegal aliens.

The children of the 60's are the benefactors of the civil rights movement but as adults they are competing with foreign interlopers for jobs, government resources and housing. The less successful blacks were just starting to get their legs under them but they have been knocked down and are being pushed out by the illegal aliens.

I'am trully proud to know Ted, and feel he is a true friend and Patriot. Maybe you should attend a rally in LA and see and feel what I mean. I would march with the Crispus Attucks Brigade any day of the week!

I have read your article on your immigration views and your attack on Ted Hayes, Republicans, White society and The Minute Men. I find your views of Ted interjecting himself in a fight that has a racial element (as you put it) to be racial in your tone and disingenuous in your arguments. We Americans all have a right to speak our view, join whatever groups we want and we certainly need not to defend ourselves.

It doesn't matter if Ted is Black, White or a legal Immigrate, because we are the citizenry who have rights under the U.S. Constitution, who pay the taxes that support this government and we are the ones to give our lives to protect our rights and government.

What bothers the pro-illegal alien supporters is the blacks and legal immigrants who speak their minds about this invasion and you can't use their favorite word "racist". Every American has a right to speak out against people (20+ million) who illegally entered our nation and act like we owe them social benefits, education, jobs, healthcare and they demand we change our laws to accommodate them and their criminal felonious behavior.

First of all
This isn't about immigration or immigration laws, I'm sure you are aware that immigration is a legal platform for legal immigrates who legally applied for admission and fulfilled all the requirements for admission... Countries have immigration policies for the national interest of the country ...Not for the interest of the immigrants. Immigrants don't come here expecting to be supported, making demands; they follow the rules, assimilate, are proud, have rights, contribute, are grateful and help make this a greater country.

The open border advocates and supporters are trying to use legal platforms of immigration and the black civil rights movement for exploitation for their illegal podiums and their disingenuous want of benefits earned and subsidized by middle class Americans and of American residence without paying the price. Every person who illegally entered this nation left a home. They are NOT homeless and they are NOT Americans. If they want to fight a government and its laws, let them go home and do it.

This is about America, the respect and protection of Americans, national security, THE NATIONAL INTEREST, American rights and against a total sell out of Americans by Our President for his global aspirations, some greedy big business, politicians of the USA and Mexico's elitist society. The Black civil rights movement was, a movement of BLACK CITIZENS of this country fighting for their rights, as we all pro-law Americans will stick together now to fight to protect our country against the Politicians and religious groups, who have a vested interest in not enforcing interior immigration laws. Such groups stand to receive benefits from a larger alien population--one for votes, the other for potential converts and mostly for greed.

We will not allow America to be stolen by third world agitators and thieves.
We demand our country be secured and enforce our rule of law.

I find it very ironic that this writer is slamming a man who has "walked the walk" as well as "talked the talk." This piece is disgusting and dishonest.

The sad reality is that black Americans have been disproportionately impacted by illegal immigration through loss of low-skilled jobs. Poor American citizens, regardless of color, deserve the respect and consideration of our government and should not take a back seat to those who have no right to be here.

And, Ted is a homeless advocate. He is undoubtedly aware that a large proportion of subsidized housing goes to illegal aliens, a subsidy that should be reserved for citizens.

You are exactly right. During a march with Ted through downtown LA (Tijuana north), I saw some of the destitute and homeless black Americans who have been pushed down by the illegal invasion. It is truly sickening when you realize how our corrupt politicians have sold out these Americans who have been here for centuries just to maintain their own political power.
