Five men in Burnet County Jail

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Three men are in custody and being held in the Burnet County Jail on charges of aggravated robbery in connection with a home invasion alleged to have occurred on Tuesday.

Two other men are also being held on theft charges related to this same incident. This incident was reported to the Burnet County Sheriff's Office at approximately 4 a.m. on Tuesday at which time an extensive investigation was initiated which involved investigators from many different task forces and police units.

Approximately 14 hours into the investigation, investigators made contact with and detained a total of five individuals at a residence located in the 400 block of East Castlewood in the City of Granite Shoals. Those individuals were identified as:

Nauna Antonio Fuentes-Sanchez
Carlos Ilberto Sanchez
Gilberto Hernandez Aldana
Aaron Jose Sanchez
Alvaro Estrada Caceres
While at this residence investigators developed probable cause to believe that these individuals may have been involved in or had knowledge of this incident. These men were subsequently transported to the Sheriff's Office as part of the ongoing investigation.

Based on statements obtained from Gilberto Hernandez Aldana and Alvaro Estrada Caceres, investigators believed that there was sufficient evidence to obtain an evidentiary search warrant for the residence located at 424 East Castlewood. At approximately 12:45 a.m. District Court Judge Dan Mills signed the warrant authorizing a search of this residence for specific items reportedly taken in the home invasion. The warrant was immediately executed at which time investigators recovered items believed to have been stolen during the robbery.

Charges of aggravated robbery in connection with this incident have been filed on the following individuals with bond being set at $200,000 on each;

Gilberto Hernandez Aldana; 18
Alvaro Estrada Caceres; 18
Nauna Antonio Fuentes-Sanchez; 23
Charges of Class A misdemeanor theft have been filed on the following individuals in connection with this case with bond being set at $25,000 on each:

Carlos Eriberto Sanchez; 24
Aaron Jose Fuentes-Sanchez; 20
Based on information developed during the investigation, the vehicle that was reportedly stolen in this incident was located at approximately 11 a.m. this date at an undisclosed location in Llano County by the Texas Department of Public Safety Aviation Unit.

Investigators are now looking into some or all of these individuals possible involvement in another felony crime which occurred in this same area of Burnet County.

All of these individuals claim to be foreign nationals from El Salvador and their status in the United States is being verified by agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
