VANCOUVER - American politicians have long believed that Canada is a gateway for illegal immigrants, but an internal U.S. consular memo suggests the gate may be swinging the other way.

A recent cable released by online whistleblower Wikileaks says immigrants are living illegally for several years in the U.S. first, and then crossing into Canada and trying to frequently gain legal status in Vancouver.
U.S. consul in Vancouver Phillip Chicola writes in a cable to the White House that immigrants show up in Canada with new passports and different names to cover up previous orders of removal or unlawful presence in America.

Authorities in both countries have long referred to their boundary as being the longest unfortified border in the world.
But U.S. officials have previously accused Canada of being an easy stepping stone for illegal aliens to get into the States.
B.C. immigration expert Don DeVoretz says U.S. politicians have often thought of Canada as their back door for waiting terrorists.

VANCOUVER — American politicians have long believed that Canada is a gateway for illegal immigrants wanting to get into their country, but an internal U.S. consular memo suggests the gate may be swinging the other way.

A cable released recently by online whistleblower Wikileaks says immigrants are living illegally for several years in the U.S. first, and then crossing into Canada and trying to fraudulently gain legal status in Vancouver.

U.S. consul in Vancouver Phillip Chicola wrote to the White House that immigrants show up in Canada with new passports and different names to cover up previous orders of removal or unlawful presence in America.

“There continues to be incidences where applicants try to cover up prior orders of removal or unlawful presence in the U.S.,â€

I hate to say I told you, but....

I have worked with the OJC ( Ont. Jockey Club), OPP (Ont. Provincial Police), and my Tribal Police at Six Nations Indian Reservation and finally last year I was contacted by CSIS (Canadian Secret Intelligence Service) about this very same thing!

These illegals come in with some ( not all) horse trainers for the Canadian thoroughbred racing season. They LOVE what they see (entire new markets for freebies) and they try try try to gain status every way they can. Just like here in the US when that fails they resort to their nature... doing it the illegal way!

Time and time again as soon as they found out I was a "Status" Indian they approached me to "borrow" my status card. When that failed they offered to buy it. When that failed they then "just wanted to rent it". I promptly turned their butts in! I had to contact a s--t load of people before anyone would take action! All the while they were using that "we're blood brothers" crap on me. I looked the 3 men who approached me and said "like hell we are"!

At least Canada is interested in keeping them out! Of course they still getting swamped with other "refugees" and they also have bleeding hearts ready to hand them the keys to the kingdon.
