DREAM Act to be re-introduced during lame-duck session?

Today I was a private Boxer fundraiser. I got to meet Mark Begich of Alaska, Lisa Brown of Washington, and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota. I asked them about DREAM, and they said it WILL be brought up again in the fall, possibly as a stand-alone bill. Klobuchar told me that the Republicans will support the stand-alone bill.

No guarantees that they'll pass it by the end of this year though! They just told me to hang in there, but they will be pushing for CIR in the spring.

Hmm, but considering that the Bush tax cuts vote was delayed, that'll certainly occupy some time.

Despite this, I wouldn't be surprised if this is revived as a standalone bill.

I remember reading that many pro-amnesty Repubs such as LeMieux, Brownback, Collins, Snowe, and Dem Lincoln etc. stated that they only voted no because it was attached as an amendment.

BUT STILL KEEP CALLING ALL THE REPUBS, CONSERVADEMS, AND THOSE WHO VOTED AGAINST THE DREAM ACT IN 2007!

    NO AMNESTY

Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.
