TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A Mexican man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for his conviction for illegal re-entering the United States after deportation.

Benjamin Lopez-Patino, 45, had pleaded guilty to the charge in March and was sentenced on Wednesday in federal court in Tucson.

He was convicted of the same charge in 2003 and was sentenced to eight years in prison.

In the latest case, U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested Lopez-Patino in September near the village of Crow Hang on the Tohono O'odham Indian Nation.
