5 Illegal Aliens Arrested in Minot

The Highway Patrol says five illegal aliens were arrested near Minot and turned over the U.S. Border Patrol.
Trooper Captain Gary Orluck says a vehicle was stopped at about 1 a.m. Saturday about two miles east of Minot. Troopers said the vehicle had a broken tail light and a license plate that was not readable.
Orluck says none of the occupants in the vehicle spoke English.
Grand Forks Border Patrol Agent Brett Baumann says all the illegal aliens are males. He says two of them are from Nicaragua, two are from Guatemala and one is from Mexico.
Troopers say the 17-year-old driver of the vehicle was charged with minor consumption of alcohol and driving without liability insurance.
