HELENA – A proposed referendum to require proof of citizenship to receive some state services in Montana has drawn the attention of a national immigration organization.
On Thursday the Immigration Policy Center, a research and policy center headquartered in Washington, D.C., issued a media release that said such a move would be “costly and unworkable.â€

What should matter is per capita incomne not gross domestic product. Good for Montana that it is moving in the right direction.
