People of the U.S.A. Set 1st Annual Rally for September 9, 2006

Wednesday August 30, 9:30 am ET

ORMOND BEACH, Fla., Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ - The People of the U.S.A. will host their 1st Annual Rally on Saturday, September 9, 2006 and will take place at Bikers for First Amendment Rights, 144 Ridge Wood Ave, Holly Hill, Florida. This high profile event features a Unity bike ride along with a live band, barbeque pit, and 50/50 raffle. Tropical Wave Radio will also broadcast live from the event.

The rally will help to raise money and recruit members to help challenge the government regarding illegal immigration reform including in the courts of law. Larry Zdun, the group founder, said, "PeopleoftheUSA.com was formed to promote the deportation of illegal immigrants and terrorists from the United States. That is our purpose. We are here to stay and we won't stop fighting for the American citizens."

People of the U.S.A. Co-Founder Brent Zdun said, "We at the organization believe in what we are doing for the American citizens. We need to stand together as Americans and say 'no more!' We want to ensure that our voices are heard, and let freedom ring. We hope this rally will help in achieving that goal."

People of the U.S.A. are working around the clock to undo the damage caused to many Americans who have lost work or benefits to illegal immigrants. The group hopes to rally people together and make the government hear their cries for reform. People of the U.S.A. want to clarify that it is against illegal immigration and is very much for legal immigrants who come here legitimately and meld into American society and help shape it.

Attending this unique rally will be a local champion of illegal immigration reform, Mayor Tom Macklin from Avon Park, Florida. Mayor Macklin is best known for introducing his ordinance, "Illegal Immigration Relief Act," an ordinance sought to fine landlords who rent to illegal immigrants and penalize companies who hire them. Although the ordinance failed in a 3-2 vote, Mayor Macklin continues to fight for the citizens of Avon Park. Also attending is Max Linn, of the Third Party, running for Governor of Florida with Ross Perot's and Jessie Ventura's campaign manager. Max Linn has long been active in political reform, including enforcing strict term limits in Florida. To learn more about Max, please visit his website at www.maxlinn.com.
