from fienstien about reasons for bill

This is from frankenstiens site. This is part of her statement on why we need those lovely cheap undocumented workers.

This amendment provides a consistent, stable workforce for an industry that depends almost exclusively on undocumented labor - agriculture. And it provides temporary status for those who have worked in agriculture and who will continue to work in agriculture for a number of years,â€

Is this why she went to great lengths to conceal the bill? Does she think American's are that stupid?

I have tried along with Senator Craig, Senator Hagel and others who are cosponsors to find a way to pass this bill. For more than a year, I have tried to move this bill, and we have not been able to find a vehicle.
    Senators Feinstein, Craig and Hagel:

By using the Iraq War Funding Bill as your 'vehicle' for your AgJob Amendment did you not became saboteurs of our military during wartime?

We need this legislation because in the last year, 13,280 farms in the United States have shut down and others have moved their operation to Mexico. In fact, U.S. farmers operate at least 84,000 acres in Mexico. It is estimated that the United States will lose $5 billion to $9 billion to foreign competition.
Guess what? I don't care if farmers who relied on illegal labor go out of business. I don't care if they move their operations to Mexico. I don't care if the US loses 5-9 billion dollars in trade. Why? Because we will save billions more in social services we don't pay for illegal immigrants. We will save billions more in crime reduction and its attendant costs (police, courts, prisons), and reduction of losses to citizens in terms of theft, personal injury, and civil losses (traffic accidents, property depreciation, etc.) I am willing to pay more for produce, meat, poultry and milk if it means it is produced using legal labor only.

You will note that they never mention that the government does not substantiate the labor requirements claimed. In fact the labor dept is forbidden to do so. Reality is, when the government raided the Swift plants a while back, American workers filled the shortfalls in labor in a matter of days. I believe all of these other jobs would be filled the same way, but these employers do not want to pay for it. They want us taxpayers to subsidize it. This taxpayer would rather pay for it at the store, not the tax collector.

Senator Feinstein and the rest of the elected scum that promote this garbage should have a place reserved for them on the same page as Benedict Arnold.
Oh wait that is a huge insult to Benedict Arnold, my apologies their pictures should grace the cover of the book call American Traitors.

Let's not insult Benedict Arnold. He had a good reason for committing treason. He was born and raised in England. To my understanding, he even served in the British army. He was therefore conditioned to believe in England. He came to the colonies and saw what he must have considered a bunch of upstarts complaining about taxation. When they rebelled, he joined the colonial army as a spy, and later, betrayed our forces. His actions are explainable under psychology. However, these traitors have no excuses. In fact, their treason makes the actions of Benedict Arnold look like the flirtations of a choir boy by comparison.

Let the farmers move to Mexico

The Mexican government limits Mexican land purchases by foreigners restricting most land purchases to Mexican born citizens.

Try farming in Mexico--you'll need a rifle with your hoe and the Mexican government tightly restricts gun ownership.

Try living in Mexico--dodge bullets while shopping, always be alert for kidnappers and robbers, and always carry bribe and ransom money with you in case you encounter government officials

Let the farmers import all their drinking water and food from the U.S. for health reasons.

There are no vaccinations for T.B., etc.

Well gee why don't we just bring back slavery, that also provided a consistent stable workforce which the Democrats also supported 170 years ago.
