    Efforts by town of Jackson staff to dispel the notion that Jackson is friendly to illegal immigrants have only served to reignite an old debate.

    In the past several weeks, town staff and officials have received numerous e-mails chastizing them for saying that Jackson is not a “sanctuary cityâ€

    Spent 3 weeks on Honeymoon there in 88 and the only foreigners I noticed were fellow tourists. I have such great memories of the place. Seems that if I went again today I just might cry.
