Governor Martinez, as a Mexican-descended American citizen, was a target due to her ancestry, with her own family background becoming a part of the controversy.

It was reported that Susana Martinez was descended from illegal aliens herself, and she admitted this.

The governor and her spokesman acknowledged that her paternal grandfather was an illegal alien. (This grandfather abandoned his family when his son – future father of Susana – was about five, so she didn’t even meet him). She also said that a pair of her maternal great-grandparents were illegal aliens.

This is wrong what she actually said is that she did not know if they were legal. In fact when investigated it turned out that they were either legal immigrants or immigrated before being undocumented became illegal.

That's all I needed to read, "Mexico'sVoice" is the real name! They have failed to mention Alabama's unemployment rate has dropped 1 percentage pt. in just under 2mons. and that schools and social services are climbing out of the red a lot faster then they even imagined. Food banks are now asking for ID and low and behold they now have food on they're selves for struggling Americans! Each day they're laws are enforced in Alabama shows Americans just how much illegals have cost this nation and seeing is believing!
