Cops: Man sped on ATV, ran from police

UNION TOWNSHIP | Porter County police and the Department of Transportation said a semi driver who was stopped Friday morning at 334 W. U.S. 30 had a false driver's license and could be an illegal immigrant.

The man, Maximino Rodea-Diaz, 47, of Chicago, was arrested on charges of operating a commercial motor vehicle without a license and false informing. Police said Rodea-Diaz admitted paying $140 for fake identification in Chicago.
