NEWARK — The fifth of six defendants in a brutal triple murder is scheduled to go on trial in Newark.

Jose Carranza was a 28-year-old illegal immigrant from Peru in August 2007 when he and five other men and boys were arrested for the execution-style killings of Dashon Harvey, Iofemi (eye-OH’-fehm-ee) Hightower and Terrance “T.J.” Aeriel in a playground behind Newark’s Mount Vernon School.

The victims were friends who were attending or planning to attend Delaware State University.

A jury in Newark is scheduled to hear opening arguments on Thursday.

Two defendants have already been convicted and are serving consecutive life sentences. Two more have pleaded guilty.

Some of the defendants told police Carranza wielded a machete during the attack. He’s charged with murder, robbery, sexual assault and weapons offenses.

To this day, I am still angered to the core over this horrific incident. Why has this not been a top news story over the past 5 years?

Imagine if some black men shot and killed 3 illegal aliens execution style? Can you imagine the outrage from the Hispanic community? Can you imagine the protests on the street from pro-illegal alien groups? Yet these murders seemingly disappeared from the headlines shortly after they occurred.

One of these illegal alien scum that pulled the trigger was released on bail earlier that same year on assault and child rape charges. HUH?????? An illegal alien, charged with assault and child rape, released on bail, only to go on and kill three innocent LEGAL citizens execution style??????? Where is the outrage?????????????????
