Police: Men offer cash, stolen ID for driver's licenses

Two Hispanic men offered $400 each to a local DMV license examiner to get N.C. driver’s licenses Wednesday while a third tried to use the identity of someone else to obtain one for him, according to warrant affidavits.

Carballo Dominguez Constantrino, 23, of Conover, and Arriaga Castro Martin, 27, of Greensboro, face charges of offering bribes to DMV driver’s license examiner Hoppie Belton in exchange for a driver’s license. Ivan Carballo Dominguez, 30, of Gastonia, faces a charge of identity theft for having the name, date of birth and Social Security number of a person named Lucio Meza Cordoba, according to an affidavit.
