A big drug bust at the Canadian border.

Border Patrol officers seized 37 pounds of marijuana from a Massachusetts woman crossing into the U.S. from Canada at the Champlain Crossing. Police say Namy Le, 38, was transporting the pot in the altered gas tank of her car.

Officers recovered 49 vacuum-sealed bags. Police say the pot had a street value of $110,000.

"Anytime you can get any amount of drugs off the streets-- you just don't know what the impact is going to have, how it is going to affect somebody. We see it in our society, the gross devastation it's causing people of all ages, as well as the financial impact it is having on all of us," Clinton County Sheriff David Favro said.

Le was released on $10,000 bail. She is facing one to five years for criminal possession of marijuana.
