The $2.1 million project, which was to begin today, has been stopped indefinitely because of concerns raised by Mexican government officials, said Roque Sarinana, a spokesman for the Border Patrol’s Laredo Sector.

Yes, with drugs/illegals flowing like water and murders and kidnaps on the rise, I can see where spraying some weeds on the border is a bad idea

Screw what the Mexicans' concerns are. They're ALWAYS thwarting every effort we make to secure that border and try to hide it behind false flag concerns such as envirnonmental issues which they have NEVER cared anything about.

This suddden "concern for the environment" on their part is just a ruse. As if people living along that river on the Mexican side, dumping waste water, chemicals and other contaminents into it such as human excrement isn't damamging to the river...give us all a break and quit with the dramatic, phony environmental concerns! It's time for the USA to quit kow towing to the criminals and cowards in Mexico and do what needs to be done to secure OUR side of the border and protect the lives and property of U.S. citizens!
