Legalization Won’t Save Social Security

Kiplinger has a post up today discussing the most recent attempt to paint an amnesty as an economic stimulus. This time the focus is on Social Security. Mark Willen argues that somehow this almost broke system would be saved if only we would bring the 11 million illegal immigrants here in the U.S. “out of the shadowsâ€Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at http://eepurl.com/cktGTn

A lot of the jobs that illegal immigrants do could be replaced with modern technology. Things are always changing in a progressive country. Illegal aliens have somehow found themselves some well financed advocates (thanks to our progressing educational system) and have been actively at work on our society to ensure that their foothold remains.

Both Social Security and Medicare depend on money from payroll deductions. This is done as a percent of before tax deduction. The influx of too many illegals and also legal aliens adds up to TOO MANY WORKERS.
Too many workers bring down wages according to the natural law of supply and demand. Many Americans remain unemployed and so pay no Social Security and Medicare taxes. There are only so many jobs to go around. Lower wages means LESS MONEY GOING TO SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE. If illegals and even legal aliens are eliminated from our job market then wages would go up according to the natural law of supply and demand. Higher wages per occupied job WOULD INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF MONEY GOING TO SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE.
This additional money would come from employers who currently hire workers at very low wages because there are too many workers. With less workers they would have to pay higher wages, a percent of which goes to Social Security and Medicare payments through payroll. MUCH OF THE REASON OUR SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE SYSTEMS ARE BROKE IS DUE TO EMPLOYERS PAYING LOW WAGES AND THEY PUT THIS MONEY IN THEIR OWN POCKET AT THE EXPENSE OF THOSE SYSTEMS AND AT THE EXPENSE OF THE AMERICAN WORKER.
Employers only hire the number of workers necessary to get the job done. They do not hire more workers because labor is cheap.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
