    Immigration bust of 44 illegals takes place

    Dozens of people are arrested this week after a big Immigration Bust. Immigration agents say it was part of a 5 day operation. 44 illegals were taken into custody.

    Authorities say 25 were arrested in Lexington, 12 in Grand Island, 2 in Broken Bow, and 1 person in each of Cozad, Gibbon, Hastings, .Kearney and North Platte.
    Officials say 28 of the immigrants were fugitives meaning they'd already been ordered to leave the country.

    They were the targets of the operation. The other 16 were illegal immigrants arrested as the agents targeted the others.
