When it comes to enforcing immigration laws, the federal government’s right hand is in a bare-knuckles fistfight with the federal government’s left hand. And We the People are getting bloodied and bruised in the fight to stop enabling and rewarding illegal immigration.

A new Department of Homeland Security (DHS) initiative announced last month by the Bush Administration puts teeth into the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) “no-matchâ€

Property owned or mortgage by Illegal Aliens should be seized and auctioned off just like other lawbreakers. As for the banks absorbing the mortgage defaults it is their own fault for giving loans to Illegal Aliens in the first place. They must not of checked their Social Security cards.

This raises a lot of questions...does anyone know if;

Is it likely that the hearing will drag out and we will have to wait months for a ruling?

Can it actually be done October 1st and the government get back to sending the letters October 2nd?

Will the small business association suit drag this out further?

Who will defend the government's side? The government?! Don't we have more man/lawyer power then the ACLU?

I am so tired of hearing this bit of fiction. We post news stories on this site every day about the illegal immigrants who have left some or all of their children in their motherland. Some accounts say they haven't seen them for years. The media should write some human interest stories based on that truthful version of the issue.

The birth of their children in this country was their choice and in most cases a deliberate act for nefarious reasons. At what point do we demand some accountability from these aliens?

i was raised that you and you alone are accountable for your actions. we the people did not force any illegal to get pregnant and push their kid out on American soil and forcably take that kid and say 'mine, mine mine'. no matter where a mexican national pushes out a kid that kid is also a mexican national. that illegal is also responsible for that kid, not the American people.
