YUMA, AZ - U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Yuma Station arrested an undocumented immigrant Monday with an extensive criminal history and who is wanted for murder in Oregon.

At about 12 a.m., Border Patrol agents said they found four sets of footprints near County 17th Street. The footprints appeared to have crossed into the United States.

After tracking the prints, agents arrested two of the individuals who were in the U.S. illegally and took the suspects to the Yuma Station for processing.

Through fingerprint checks, it was discovered that Isreal Torres-Medina had a warrant for his arrest for murder in Portland, Oregon. He also had a warrant for flight to avoid apprehension from the U.S. Marshal's Service.

Torres-Medina was turned over to the Yuma Police Department and is waiting extradition to Portland.

There is no word if the other two suspects were found.
