WHITE HOUSE MAKES BIG ADMISSION ABOUT OBAMA’S UNCLE

White House press secretary Jay Carney on Thursday said President Barack Obama did briefly stay with his illegal immigrant uncle while attending Harvard Law School in the 1980s.

This is a contradiction of what the White House told reporters in 2011, asserting Obama did not know his uncle.
“Back when this arose, folks looked at the record, including the president’s book, and there was no evidence that they had met and that was what was conveyed,” Carney told reporters. “Nobody spoke to the president.”

The president’s uncle Onyango “Omar” Obama, 69, said at a deportation hearing this week that Obama stayed with him when the president was a student at Harvard. The uncle, whom Carney stressed was the president’s father’s half-brother, was arrested for drunk driving in 2011 and faced deportation after living in the United States for five decades. The judge decided to let the Kenyan national remain in the United States.

Carney stressed that the uncle is the half-brother of the president’s father.
“When Omar Obama said the other day, and there were reports that he said the other day, that President Obama, back when he was a law school student had stayed with him in Cambridge, I thought it was the right thing to do to go ask him,” Carney said. “Nobody had asked him in the past and he said that he in fact had met Omar Obama when he moved to Cambridge for law school, that he stayed with him for a brief period of time, until his — the president’s — apartment was ready. After that, they saw each other once every few months while the president was in Cambridge and after law school they gradually fell out of touch. The president has not seen Omar Obama in 20 years and has not spoke with him in roughly 10 years.”

Carney said there was “absolutely zero interference” by the White House in Onyango Obama’s immigration hearing.
In 1992, an immigration judge had ordered Onyango Obama to leave the United States. According to the Associated Press, the uncle has held a Massachusetts driver’s license since at least 1992 and also had a Social Security number.
Onyango Obama was arrested in Framingham, Mass., in 2011 and charged with driving drunk. He had made a rolling stop at a stop sign and nearly caused a police cruiser to strike his sport utility vehicle, police told the AP.

After being booked at a police station, he was asked whether he wanted to make a telephone call to arrange for bail.
“I think I will call the White House,” he said, according to a report written by Framingham police. He pleaded not guilty to the charge of operating an automobile under the influence of alcohol.

In his 1995 memoir, “Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance,” Barack Obama refers to his Uncle Omar, who matches Onyango Obama’s background and has the same date of birth. In the book, a young Barack Obama Jr. traces his roots and his 1988 trip to Kenya. He writes about a Kenyan expression about getting lost, meaning to not see someone in a while or to move away and stop communicating — “like our Uncle Omar, in Boston.”

White House Makes Big Admission About Obama’s Uncle

    Dec. 5, 2013 2:56pm Fred Lucas

White House press secretary Jay Carney on Thursday said President Barack Obama did briefly stay with his illegal immigrant uncle while attending Harvard Law School in the 1980s.

This is a contradiction of what the White House told reporters in 2011, asserting Obama did not know his uncle.

Obama caught lying again! He did know and stay with his illegal alien uncle Omar in the 80's and now his uncle gets special treatment instead of deportation!

Wait...when he lived with his uncle weren't those the days when Barry was always stoned? He probably just forgot about having lived with his uncle as he was in a pot filled haze.

AFTER DENYING THEY MET, WHITE HOUSE ADMITS OBAMA LIVED WITH UNCLE

by JOHN NOLTE 5 Dec 2013

In yet another example of White House dissembling and our subservient media rolling over, the White House admitted Thursday that President Obama not only knows a Kenyan uncle who faced deportation, but that the president lived with this uncle in the eighties. When asked in 2011, the White House said there was no record of the two ever meeting. Apparently, our crackerjack media accepted that false information without ever following up or even asking if the president had been asked. The Boston Globe reports that at a recent deportation hearing, the president's uncle, Onyango Obama, testified that "his famous nephew had stayed at his Cambridge apartment for about three weeks. At the time, Onyango Obama was here illegally and fighting deportation."

Obviously, this testimony directly contradicted the 2011 statement from the White House. Faced with the contradiction, the White house offered the following explanation:

[T]he press office had not fully researched the relationship between the president and his uncle before telling the Globe that they had no record of the two meeting. This time, the press office asked the president directly, which they had not done in 2011.

Only with a Democrat in office would "we have no record of the two meeting" not sound like a non-answer answer to the media. And once again it wasn't our media that dug up an Obama scandal or embarrassment; in this case it was the uncle.

During his briefing Thursday, White House spokesman Jay Carney said that he personally chose to ask the president about the relationship. The Boston Globe adds:

“The President first met Omar Obama when he moved to Cambridge for law school,” said White House spokesman Eric Schultz. “The President did stay with him for a brief period of time until his apartment was ready. After that, they saw each other once every few months, but after law school they fell out of touch. The President has not seen him in 20 years, has not spoken with him in 10.”

This has been all-too typical a problem with our media throughout the Obama administration. Whether it is the IRS scandal, ObamaCare, the ObamaCare enrollment numbers, or Benghazi, our acquiescent media is told something by the White House and simply reports it to the world as fact and without a hint of skepticism.

Since the day Obama stepped on to the presidential stage, the American media have been uniformly terrified at what they might find were they to shift from stenographer to investigative reporter. And as we have seen over the last five years of scandal, lies, and incompetence, that fear is not without reason.

    What if It’s All True?

    Roger L. Simon
    December 4th, 2013

I have never been much of a conspiracy theorist. For me it was always Oswald by himself from the Texas School Book Depository and nothing in the intervening fifty years has disabused me of this notion. For the most part, I’m an Occam’s Razor kind of guy — the most obvious explanation is likely to be true.

Moreover, conspiracy theorists from Mark Lane to Jerome Corsi (more of him in a moment) have always seemed to me a little bit, well, off.

Maybe it’s the temper of the times, however, the incessant presidential lying recently unmasked, but a brief Washington Postarticle linked on the Drudge Report Tuesday caught me up short. The headline told much of the story — “Obama’s uncle contradicts White House, says Obama stayed with him in 1980s.

Obama’s uncle is Onyango “Omar” Obama, 69, a Kenyan national who has been living illegally in this country for five decades. Omar, the manager of a liquor store, was caught driving under the influence recently and faced deportation. The judge apparently let him off. What’s interesting is that Omar testified during his trial that the future POTUS stayed at Onyango’s apartment in Cambridge in the 1980s while Barack attended Harvard Law. Obama has previously denied ever having even met Omar. But the Kenyan’s landlord corroborated under oath Barack Sr.’s brother’s testimony. The White House, as is its wont these days, isn’t commenting.

Now, as a devotee of the aforementioned William of Ockham (“the hypothesis with the fewest assumptions should be selected”), I tend to believe, in fact I almost certainly believe, Obama’s father’s brother and his landlord, not the president. It makes little sense that Obama as a young Harvard grad student would not at least have looked up his father’s brother, when they were living in the same town for three years. Indeed, it makes good sense that he might have crashed on Omar’s couch for a few days or weeks while looking for an apartment. Many, if not most, of us have done something similar.

Furthermore, although there might be some incentive for Omar to lie about his relationship with the president to curry favor with the judge, what incentive would his landlord have had? To be indicted for perjuring himself? No wonder the White House is silent.

Around Obama there is an unprecedented silence, almost a media omertà. So much remains unknown about this man, although we do know, through the debate surrounding David Maraniss’s failed and tentative biography, that the president lied about his personal history on multiple occasions in his autobiography Dreams from My Father.

Of course, Bill Ayers — the semi-retired terrorist — has claimed on similarly multiple occasions that he was the true author of Dreams, which would make it a lie about a lie about a lie or something like that. The permutations of this are mindboggling.

Which leads me back to Jerome Corsi. A few years ago, in Chicago for a conference, I was introduced to the author-presidential gadfly who had rented a limo for the day to tour Obama and Obama-related real estate properties in that city’s Hyde Park district. He asked me to come along and, never one to refuse a free invitation, I went, but although I found Corsi personally engaging, I kept thinking quietly that the man was cracked.

No longer. Years and a multiplicity of deceptions later, I think what Corsi said and says is mostly (as in more than fifty percent) true.

That doesn’t mean I believe that Obama was born in Kenya. I remain unconvinced of that. And I don’t even much care if he was. I would vote in a heartbeat for a foreign born person if I thought he or she were the best candidate, assuming it was all legal and public, which in this case it wouldn’t have been, but you get my point.

Nevertheless, in the wake of the serial lies about Obamacare, Benghazi, the IRS, Fast and Furious, media surveillance, the NSA, Syria, Iran, etc., etc., I’m now prepared to believe many things of which I might initially have been at least somewhat skeptical.

To put it bluntly, Occam’s Razor has moved. Things that were once possibilities now seem almost certainties to me.

Principal among those is that Obama’s academic records are perpetually unavailable for a reason — and that reason is most likely that they reveal he received financial preferences, scholarships and/or loans, as a foreign student. They probably also reveal academic mediocrity, but that’s par for the course for many of our politicians (except it becomes embarrassing in Obama’s case where he has the reputation of being brilliant).

But that’s only one area of accusation. What if they were all true — or, if not all, say thirty, forty or even fifty percent? What if this were actually demonstrated while he was still in office to the degree that the standard spin that all politician lie no longer applied? What if we could prove that it had gone well beyond that, beyond Nixon and Clinton far into the realm of an invented man? What would that mean, exactly? Should his opponents rejoice? Would a new era and truth, beauty and prosperity be upon us?

Not likely. Great damage has been done. Consider for a moment that whatever theories we have about Obama, whatever prevarications and deceptions of which we are aware or unaware, are known equally to our adversaries — the intelligence agencies of China, Russia and Iran. Even if they were too dumb to figure it out for themselves, which they’re not, they read our newspapers and blogs.

These totalitarian — or near totalitarian, depending on how you want to parse it — states depend on lies for their existence. In Obama they have found a partner in crime, a semblable, as Baudelaire would say. They are currently exploiting this. In all likelihood our world will never be the same. This is no cause for celebration by any American.

UPDATE: According to the Boston Globe, as of today Thursday, Obama now acknowledges having lived with his uncle.

Sadly as we lose values/morals/standards it allows people with evil intent into our lives, we know little of this president, sealed records abound. One thing is certain in my mind the far left as a group has become so radical it's difficult to believe anything they say, IMO they feel now is the time to change America forever into the socialist utopia they dream of, too them it justifies the lies.

If large numbers of people with evil intent work to change our great country would that be a conspiracy.?

Networks Skip Special Treatment for Obama's Illegal Uncle, But Univision Hits 'Favoritism'

    By Scott Whitlock |
    December 5, 2013

All three broadcast networks have, thus far, ignored the special treatment given to Onyango Obama, Barack Obama's illegal uncle who was arrested in 2011 on drunk driving. In contrast, however, the Spanish language channel Univision on Wednesday covered the story with a skeptical take about possible "favoritism."

Onyango Obama will be allowed to stay in the country after a Boston judge reopened his case and intervened.
Noticiero Univision reporter Luis Megid noted, "Onyango had a lot of luck, but there are those who ask if he would have had it if he hadn't been the President's uncle." Megid then featured an unidentified woman on the street who bluntly concluded, "I believe it has been favoritism." The journalist wondered, "What probability does a person with a deportation order have that his case would be re-opened?" [See Spanish language video below. MP3 audio here.]

Immigration lawyer Paula Solorio responded: "Almost none, because when Immigration detains a person with an old deportation order, the government is going to execute the earlier order."

She added, "Obama's uncle had the luck of getting an agreement with the U.S. ICE prosecutor to re-open the case. That's what happened. For any other person, the government is going to execute the order."

Univision should be commended for offering a comprehensive report for their Spanish-language viewers. ABC, CBS and NBC couldn't be bothered.

On Wednesday afternoon, White House spokesman Jay Carney changed the administration's official story and admitted that the President briefly lived with Onyango in the 1980s. Will the networks finally follow-up?

[Thanks to MRC's Ken Oliver for the Spanish transcript and translation.]

Noticiero Univision (Univision National Nightly Newscast)
    12/04/13
    6:57pm ET

JORGE RAMOS: A federal immigration judge authorized permission for Onyango 'Omar' Obama, an uncle of President Obama, to legally remain in the country, where he has lived since the 1960s. The Judge indicated that the President’s family member, born 69 years ago in Kenya, is a good neighbor who pays his taxes, and as Luis Megid tells us, his case sets a precedent for others to also seek legal permanent residence.

LUIS MEGID: He's lived as an undocumented immigrant for more than 40 years, more than 20 challenging a deportation order and two since he was arrested on drunk driving charges. But Onyango Obama today can breath a sigh of relief. An immigration court in Boston re-opened his case and allowed him to legally remain in the country.

MARGARET WONG, LAWYER FOR Onyango OBAMA: Now he got to stay and with a green card become a citizen.

MEGID: Smiling, his lawyer says he will be given residency and eventually can become a citizen. Onyango had a lot of luck, but there are those who ask if he would have had it if he hadn't been the President's Uncle.

UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN ON THE STREET: I believe it has been favoritism.

WONG: I wish we had got special treatment, but we didn't."

MEGID: The lawyer denies there was favoritism for being a relative of the President, though others doubt that. But let's see. What probability does a person with a deportation order have that his case would be re-opened?

PAULA SOLORIO, IMMIGRATION LAWYER: Almost none, because when Immigration detains a person with an old deportation order, the government is going to execute the earlier order.

MEGID: Some experts go even farther.

SOLORIO: Obama's uncle had the luck of getting an agreement with the U.S. ICE prosecutor to re-open the case. That's what happened. For any other person, the government is going to execute the order.

MEGIDTo be fair, it is difficult to prove that cases are never re-opened. What is known is that it is more the exception than the rule. The uncle is not the only relative of President Obama who has lived here as an undocumented immigrant. Some years ago the case of his aunt came up, who was also living in the country without papers. She also got her situation fixed when the immigration court gave her asylum. The White House has not made any commentary about the case of Onyango Obama. In San Francisco, Luis Megid, Univision.

Margaret Wong: (abogada de Onyango Obama): Now he got to stay and with a green card become a citizen." Sonriente, su abogada dice que le darán la residencia y eventualmente se podrá hacer ciudadano. Onyango tuvo mucha suerte, pero hay quienes se preguntan si la hubiese tenido de no ser el tío del presidente Obama.

Mujer no identificada: Yo creo que ha sido favoritismo.

Wong: I wish we got special treatment, but we didn't." La abogada niega que haya habido favoritismo por ser familiar del presidente, aunque otros lo dudan. Pero vamos a ver. Qué probabilidades tiene una persona con una orden de deportacion de que reabran su caso?

Paula Solorio, abogada de inmigración: Casi ninguna, porque cuando la Inmigración detiene una persona con una orden antigua de deportacion, el gobierno va a ejecutar la orden anterior.

Megid: Algunos expertos legales van todavía mas lejos.
