    The little research conducted on these mostly informal groups shows how they help immigrants funnel dollars back home for development projects, said Will Somerville, an analyst with the Migration Policy Institute, a nonpartisan think tank in Washington, D.C.

    A deeper look shows they play a critical role integrating new immigrants into U.S. society, Somerville said.

    These groups are enablers, and they contribute to the illegal alien push for amnesty, and to the writers and reporters who write the sob stories to excuse illegal behavior and identity theft, etc. They act as if they are here to help people assimilate, but if you search their members and the list of those who they assist, there is a large illegal alien population among them. The local Chamber of Commerce chapters are often involved in these groups too.
