Arpaio says he stands by his policies
Arpaio says he stands by his policies

FOUNTAIN HILLS - Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said he will stand by his immigration enforcement policy and hard-hitting tactics this week at a Fountain Hills Rotary Club meeting.
Arpaio, a six-year resident of Fountain Hills, addressed the group a week after his political rival, Buckeye Police Chief Dan Saban, spoke at the Rotary.
Saban is competing in the Nov. 4 election to defeat Arpaio, who is seeking his fifth four-year term. Saban, a Democrat, and Arpaio, a Republic, are expected to win their primary elections on Sept. 2.
