    Lucky Brand Pushing Spanish!

Ok so this is not a news post, but it should be.

For years Lucky Brand Clothing has labeled itself as an 'All American Brand' gaining fame in the midwest through the Buckle clothing stores that carry the brand and now their own line of stores.

Lucky is known for using the stars and stripes in t-shirts designs etc.. as well as trying to label themselves as the brand for youth who are all american.

Today I walked into the store (one of my favorite brands) to get a few new shirts. I looked down and saw a t-shirt that said 'rock and roll' on the top. I picked up the shirt and unfolded it to be shocked by a SPANISH phrase at the bottom of hte shirt... wtf!!! I turned and asked the store staff what the heck was going on and they replied 'who knows'.

I kept looking around and saw another Spanish shirt, this one read 'Caliente' and had like a paragraph of spanish. Frustrated I tried really hard to ignore the shirts and picked out a tee and a button down and went to the dressing room.

I slid on the t-shirt (a black shirt with a guitar in the middle and 'rock and roll' on top) then I put on the button down over it to see how it looked. That's When I noticed a skull with a joint and a sombrero on the bottom and lettering that said 'Calexico' (or California - Mexico).

WTF!!! Furious I tore off the clothes and stormed to the counter. I told the staff they could keep their spanish trash and angrily left the store.

I have been a faithful Lucky Brand Co. shopper for years, but not anymore this is the last freaking straw for me. What next? American Eagle will have mexican eagles on their shirts? Or Hollister will start making 'Hencho en Mexico' prints?

    Enough already, LEARN ENGLISH!
