A recent article published in the Observer stated that Dole will not support illegal immigrants receiving amnesty. I am happy she is going to listen to the great majority of Americans that agree with this.

All the phone calls and faxes trying to influence senate votes, the real question isn't who sends the most but who sends them. A phone call of fax from an ilegal resident in the US should be completely ignored. Senators serve Americas, they are employed by Americans to represent our wants and needs, they do not and should never have their vote influenced by non Americans.

Americans that want amnesty are entitled to their opinion, because that is the essence of being an American, but illegals and their advocates that try to influence US laws have no voice in the affairs that belong solely to Americans.

In this article you see that Richard Burr may vote for illegals getting amnesty because his job is safe until 2010. If he supports this bill he will be looking for when that time comes. We and many others will not forget his vote and will make it an issue when the time to remove him comes.
