I went to Greensboro, NC to support the Minutemen, and about 50 protesters from the International Socialist Workers Party showed up to protest and hurl the usual insults, cursing, and obscene jesters. Along with beating their drums. The had every sign that can be found on the loony Democrat left. From "Free Palestine" to gay rights flag. The had a large flag that said, "NO NATIONS, NO BORDERS". I thought well, they agree with Bush on one thing at least, No Borders.

We had about 50 Minutemen supporters show up. They had to move so many times that I believe we would have had more folks show up if not for the confusion of where they would be holding the rally. The Minutemen were going to be in front of city hall in Greensboro, but the Socialist got a permit to protest, so the MM called a furniture company down the road near the city plaza that had a large parking lot. But at the last minute, the owners got cold shoulders and backed out. They said they did business with a large segment of the immigrant community and didn't want to offend anyone with this racist organization. They said they thought the Minutemen was a religious organization at first. That's why they first told them to use their parking lot. And get this, the name of the company is "AMERICAN" FURNITURE.

Folks these socialist protesters were all young, they're the next generation that will be running this country if we don't get up off our duffs and get people involved. They had several peace signs, but I've never seen so much "HATE" spuing from the mouths of so called peace loving activists. These people are just the other side of the coin from the Klan, and the 60s Black Panthers. The intense hatred is the same, Irrational, blind, naked hatred. They would have liked of hurt us. You could feel it and see it.

They had a couple of Hispanics, but the vast majority were white. What a sad bunch of mush brains. This is a prime example of what our colleges and universities are turning out. Indoctrinated, brain washed, anarchists and haters of everything American.

I wish I knew how to post the digital pictures I took of the rally. It was intense. But some of the Minutemen, said these protesters were nothing, very small potatoes compared to the ones they had seen in Calf. and other southwestern states.

The Minutemen did say that they were getting a lot of support from folks across NC. They said they see a lot of thumbs up signs. Unlike some other states.

Dueling rallies draw crowds on High Point Road

GREENSBORO — Members and supporters of the Minuteman Project and a group of protesters opposing them rallied on opposite sides of High Point Road on Wednesday night, chanting slogans and shouting obscenities at each other across the street. The Minuteman group, which opposes illegal immigration and organizes armed citizen patrols of the U.S.-Mexico border, started a 13-city tour at the beginning of the month in Los Angeles. It held its gathering in Greensboro despite a week of difficulties finding a place to rally and a last-minute near-cancellation of the event.
The group had planned to hold the rally at 7 p.m. in the parking lot of American Furniture Warehouse on High Point Road. But the owner of the lot said he decided to deny the group the use of the property when he read about who they were in the News & Record on Wednesday.

"We were told that they were some sort of church group on a mission, and we agreed to let them stop here," owner Rick Rose said.
"I have nothing against immigrants; I do a lot of trade with Mexico and I don’t want anything to do with that type of group," Rose said Wednesday afternoon. "If they show up here, I’ll have them escorted off the property."
