As a resident of NY, I am with the 72% that DO NOT want to reward those here ILLEGALLY with licenses. Our Governor is NOT representing the will of New Yorkers. He is breaking state law and as such, there are at least two law suits to stop this madness.

To other NY residents, call/write/email the capital, your state senators, assemblymen and keep the pressure on. Keep in mind that both our US Senators are pro-illegal aliens as evidenced by their past voting records. Both Schumer and Clinton are horrible on illegal-aliens. Also, as Hillary demonstrated in the last debate, supports Governor Spitzers plan in one sentence then in the next says she never said that.

My vote will go to anyone who will uphold OUR LAWS, secure our borders and finally let the WILL of the PEOPLE, LEGAL PEOPLE, prevail.

Think about this, illegal aliens would have the ability to register with the State of New York as illegal aliens and to prove it, their license would look totally different than the rest of ours. This could make the task of rounding them up and sending them home very easy. But then again, what idiot would register for such a license? This would be like a bank robber going into a bank, opening account and telling the teller that the money he was depositing was obtained in the robbery of the bank across the street last week.
