U.S. Department of Commerce Brings DR-CAFTA Delegates to Visit The Enterprise Network of Silicon Valley

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 23, 2005--In the technology world, global convergence is no longer an idea or a dream, but a reality. This week, as part of its initiative to encourage and grow entrepreneurial enterprises in the Silicon Valley and worldwide, TEN (The Enterprise Network of Silicon Valley) invited more than 20 delegates of DR-CAFTA (Dominican Republic-Central American Free Trade Agreement), accompanied by the U.S. Department of Commerce, to visit TEN's South San Jose Sobrato Center for Innovation.

"The Silicon Valley and entire Bay Area offer exceptional business and financial resources to entrepreneurs and small businesses seeking to break into new markets," remarked Dr. Bill Musgrave, president and CEO of The Enterprise Network. "Our role at TEN is to help promote this global value chain for international business development."

Organized by the Institute for International Business Development (IIBD), together with the Greater San Jose Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Silicon Valley (GSJHCC) and TEN's international business development staff, the conference enabled discussion about the opportunities that the Bay Area and TEN offer to Central American small business owners, educators and entrepreneurs. Representatives from the Dominican Republic and every Central American country were present.

GSJHCC CEO Carlos Figueroa agrees, "By educating large economic regional forces such as Central America on all the resources available to them in Silicon Valley, we are not only bridging economies and converging talent, we are also creating jobs."

Credit is being confiscated right from under us everyday now! Why and how, do people just 'misplace' or get 'hacked'?
Bush and family want control. It doesnt matter where you are on the totem pole. Cause you will all be 'controlled'. It's getting so bizzare now that I wouldn't be surprised if there was a 'war' here, to scare and get us all under their control. This isn't paranoia talking. Do like Judy has been telling you. Save, don't spend. Don't bank either- put it in a safe or something. If you have cash, you will do better! No credit cards! That's what they want.

a) a Bush appointee

b) raised in Mexico

c) educated to some level in Mexico

d) has no college education

e) started working for Kelloggs as a truck driver

f) worked his way up to running all of Kelloggs Mexican Operation in 10 years

g) was moved to the United States by Kelloggs to run a sales division

h) 15 years later was promoted to CEO of Kelloggs Corporation

i) supports use of Genetically Modified Grains in Kelloggs products

j) became United States Secretary of Commerce this year

i) still has no college education

k) is primarily responsible for trade agreements....complex 2400 page documents which require in my opinion at least some college level education to read and comprehend

l) to me, this is a dark and mysterious background for the US Secretary of Commerce
