    English only in Lewisville Texas

    Lewisville Considers English Only Resolution
    LEWISVILLE (CBS 11 News) ―

    The City of Lewisville is looking into making English it's official language.

    On Monday the Lewisville city council will consider a resolution establishing English as the official language of the city. Farmers Branch and Oak Point have both adopted similar resolutions in recent years.

    Lewisville City Councilman Rudy Durham says the proposal is discriminatory.

    Discussion on the resolution will take place Monday night at the city's regularly scheduled council meeting.

    Lewisville City Councilman Rudy Durham says the proposal is discriminatory.
    Well, at least it is only "discriminatory" rather than racist and all the other stuff the ACLU and LaRaza would call it. Councilman Durham should also be publicly chastised for his anti-American comment, IMO.

    It is not discriminatory. Legal immigrants are required to know the English language before they enter into the US.
