BUFFALO, N.Y. -- An illegal alien stands accused of this week's murder of an innocent woman at a Walmart in Albion.

The suspect, 24-year-old Luis Rodriguez-Flamenco, was arrested weeks ago on an assault charge, but released after giving police a fake name.

In this case, many believe a federal program may have helped keep the suspect behind bars. It's called "Secure Communities." In part, it helps police run fingerprints of suspects through an immigration database to identify illegals.

New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo opted out of "Secure Communities" over concerns about possible abuses.

Wednesday night, attorney Paul Cambria and Leonard Roberto, Founder and Chairman at Primary Challenge, debated whether local police should have more authority and resources to crack down on illegals. Click on the video link above to see it.

It is a crock of you know what...secure communities my foot....pay attention and read up on it all and don't be fooled into a false sense of security....
