Some Oklahomans consider illegal immigration state's top problem

May 5, 2007
TULSA, Okla. A new poll shows about 10 percent of Oklahomans consider illegal immigration the state's Number One problem.

The telephone poll of 752 likely voters was conducted April 27th through the 30th by Soonerpoll-dot-com for the Tulsa World and K-O-T-V-channel 6. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3-point-5 percent.

The poll shows just more than 10 percent identified illegal immigration as the state's most pressing problem.

That was down slightly from October, the last time the question was asked. Illegal immigration still ranked second behind longtime leader education.
