My first job as a teen was cleaning hotel rooms along with other teens. Now teens don't even consider this as a job, wonder why? At least in CA anyway.

Immigration law to force Myrtle Beach employers to fire illegals

MYRTLE BEACH – In January South Carolina’s new E-Verify system becomes mandatory for all businesses.

The state’s new immigration law will require all businesses use the online system to check the legal status of new employees.

The SC Licensing Department will randomly audit companies to make sure they follow the law.

Employers who do not use E-Verify will have a grace period until July.

After that violators will get one-year probation.

Repeat violators could lose their business license.

Holiday South Hotel began to use E-Verify last July.
