Details Emerge In Woodbridge Triple Slaying
Suspect Is Illegal Immigrant From Mexico, Police Say

    POSTED: 5:50 pm EST December 10, 2007

MANASSAS, Va. -- More details emerged Monday after three people were killed and two wounded in a shooting following a child's birthday party on Sunday, News4's Darcy Spencer reported.

Police have identified the victims as Rosario Europa, her husband, Juan Manuel Guevara, and Gerardo Lopez Garcia.

Police arrested 39-year-old Anastacio Sanchez-Miranda, who authorities said is an illegal immigrant from Mexico, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., at about 2:30 p.m., six hours after the shooting at the Woodbridge home was reported.

Prince William County police arrived at the scene on Grand View Avenue around 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

Europa, Guevara and Garcia were found shot dead. They had been asleep in their beds.

Authorities said Sanchez-Miranda entered the house through an unlocked door and shot people upstairs and downstairs.

The victims had just celebrated the second birthday of Garcia's child the night before. The child and her mother were in the bedroom when Garcia was shot.

Police said Sanchez-Miranda's intended target appeared to be his ex-girlfriend, Europa's sister, who was spending the night at the house with their three boys. Authorities said she and the children were in the room with the couple when the murders took place.

    Sanchez-Miranda's ex-girlfriend was not hurt.

Court records show Sanchez-Miranda's ex-girlfriend had him charged with assault and battery a couple of years ago and sought a protective order, but the charges were later dismissed.

Authorities said after the shooting, Sanchez-Miranda drove to his sister's house in Wilkes-Barre, where he was apprehended after authorities tracked him on his cell phone.

He was arrested after being coaxed down from the roof of the house.

Authorities said he is still being held in Pennsylvania, but officials will bring him back to Virginia to face murder charges. This could become a death penalty case, officials said.

Two others were wounded in the shooting. A 30-year-old man was in critical condition and an 18-year-old man was in stable condition Sunday night.

    Three Killed in Woodbridge Shooting

WOODBRIDGE, Va. --The man accused of murdering three people Sunday in Prince William County allegedly shouldn't have been in this country at all!

39-year-old Anastacio Sanchez-Miranda is accused of murdering Juan Manuel Guevara, 28; Rosario Europa, 24; and Gerardo Lopez-Garcia, 25 and a quick search of court records found a DWI arrest and a malicious wounding charge.

For some reason, Sanchez-Miranda was not deported for those offenses.

Relatives say Sanchez-Miranda burst into the home and began shooting. They say he was looking for Rosario Europa's sister – his ex-wife and the mother of his children.

Europa's sister had stayed overnight at the house with her three children after a birthday party for a 2-year-old. She was in the house but wasn't injured.

In addition, a 30-year-old man was in critical condition and an 18-year-old man was in stable condition, police said. Five children, ranging in age from 2 to 7, were in the house at the time of the shooting but were not hurt.

Police arrested Sanchez-Miranda Sunday afternoon in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Prosecutors there were expected to proceed with extradition efforts early next week.

Click on the link and see the picture of this beast. When I first saw a clip on this story from AP, there was absolutely no mention of him being an illegal alien. I saw the picture and did a search to find out this detail.

This incident looks like it took place in a nice neighborhood too.
Illegal aliens remain exempt from American laws, while they DEMAND American rights...
