Illegal Alien Arrested in Truck Inspection

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. - State Police have arrested a man they say was in the United States illegally during a commercial truck inspection on Interstate 86.

Troopers say 22-year-old Erik Abdraimov of Munelein, Illinois, did not have proper identification. Police then confirmed Abdraimov's information with U.S. Border Patrol and it was determined he was in the country illegally.

Border Patrol responded to the scene and took the man into custody.
Abdraimov was a passenger in the vehicle that was being inspected at the Ellery Overlook Rest Area.
