Programs.

Our overall goal is to ensure that our students develop the skills, knowledge and awareness they will need to be successfull in our ever-changing world. We have created a unique and challenging program that stress high academic achievement as well as the development of second language skills.

Specifically, the Mariposa program consists of the following components:
DUAL LANGUAGE PROGRAM (K-3)
This program combines successful education models in an integrated classroom composed of both language majority and language minority students with the goals of learning two languages (English and Spanish), academic excellence, and multicultural competencies.This model is based on research that shows tremendous academic benefit for all participating students.

SPANISH ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS (Grades 4-6)
This program maintains the same academic rigor as our dual language program; however, instruction is conducted primarily in English. Students do receive Spanish instruction as enrichment to their English studies.

Mariposa academy? I wonder how many guys are going to want to go to an academy called that?

In Mexico, Mariposa is the common slang word for "gay".

Sounds like "School Of Brainwashing" to me..........
